What has been going on with us?

If you come to this site regularly (which we know you don’t) but if you do: well, we want you to know that we have been doing things. So even though the band is on one of their indefinite hiatuses, there is plenty for us to do on the web. And this fall, we’ve been rebuilding parts of the Soulhat website to make it more pleasurable for you. So far:

  • We made the site 100% secure. OK, we don’t ask for your credit card or personal information so who cares, right? Well, a few months ago, Google announced it was going to start penalizing websites who do not host on secure domains. So we did Google’s bidding. And now, you’ll always find us on top of Google when you search for “Soulhat” and that’s not worth nothing.
  • We rebuilt the events page and included every event listing for the last few years. Yes, it’s prettier than ever with pictures and Google Maps.
  • We rebuilt the news page. Man, that’s a lot of news. Of course, when you consider it goes back twenty years, we guess it’s not that much news.
  • We made the site even more easy to read on mobile devices, like your darn fancy smartphones.
  • We added lots of new videos to the Multimedia page (and adding more all the time). You’re welcome!

There’s more to come, but we just wanted to check-in and say that we love you. Because the weather is so fine and cool down here in the ATX it’s too bad we have to stay inside and code all day long.
