1. Kevin John and Johnny at the Saxon Pub
2. Name The McVein Contest Update
3. More Shows in the Key of Kev
4. On The Green

1. Rhythm Ace Disco is tonight’s amalmagation of the Kevin McKinney Show. This is a very special night including two J’s (smokable in the sense of “that’s a smoking rhythm section!”) – your regularly scheduled Johnny V on the bass, and your newbie New Bohemian John Bush on drums. 10p-12a. Dance the disco rock!

2. All the entries are in for the Name The Band Contest; we are hoping to name a winner next week. We thank each and every one of you for participating and look forward to announcing the new name soon. The winner will be announced on the web and from the Saxon stage.

3. The McVein Machine will be heading back to Houston on July 13, gigging with Jon Dee Graham at Houston’s Continental Club. There is this other band Kevin plays in called Soulhat, they’ll be at The Steamboat on July 28 with Grupo Fantasmo.

4. Successful Putting by Chuck Wike: “Simply stated, you must roll the ball on the correct path at the correct speed. Of these two variables, path and speed, speed is the most important because it determines path. A putt hit too slow will break off line early and one hit too hard will not break as much.” www.worldgolf.com/protips/instruction/classic2.html
